Station Access Out of Bounds

Nothing reflects more the complacency that exists within our current representation at Town, District and Parliament level than the lack of access for passengers at both Flitwick and Harlington Stations.

Both are completely out of bounds for wheelchair users and others of restricted mobility. The installation of lift access and walkways on both stations should be seen as a matter of urgent priority.

We are told that the responsibility rests with Network Rail but where was the pressure from our MP and local Councils when Center Parcs was being planned? Thousands of people will visit our community to stay at Center Parcs from all over the world using the railway.
